Ajax Cape Town is playing their final game of the NFD/PSL Playoffs at 15h00 against Black Leopards who still have a game in hand, against Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila, scheduled for Monday at 15h00.
Ajax is currently the leader of this micro league with six points and superior goals difference of four. Black Leopards are position 2 also with six points and three goals difference. At the bottom of the micro league is Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila who has zero points and a negative seven-goal difference.
Todayβs game between Ajax and Leopards is a decider game for Ajax, in a sense that should Leopards win this game, Ajax and TTM will both remain on NFD and Leopards will keep their status in the PSL. In an event that Leopard loses against Ajax, Leopards will still have a chance to retain their PSL in the game against the Venda rivals TTM.
TTM has not shown the same drive they had before the end of the season whereby the hunger and ambitions could be seen on players. Some analysts are eluding this poor performance to the fact that the franchise has already been sold and the team bought Bidvest Wits in the PSL. So, there is no fire for the team to win promotion as either way they will be in the PSL in the next season.
There is a letter which is purported to have been issued by TTM congratulating Black Leopards for beating them (TTM), which seems to suggest that they are close to keeping their PSL status.
Ajax responded to this via twitter and also gave TTM a huge beating of n5 β 1 in a game on Tuesday 15 September.

We turn our attention back to TTM for a crucial play-off clash at Bidvest Stadium. The #UrbanWarriors are more determined than ever following THAT press release. πͺπΎ#WeAreAjaxCT βͺοΈπ΄ pic.twitter.com/SMpql8EW6O
