Global sports company PUMA and Mamelodi Sundowns have launched the new HOPE KIT as an alternative kit for the 2024/25 season.
“The HOPE KIT is an opportunity for the Club, fans and PUMA to join hands and celebrate South Africa’s children,” said Brett Bellinger, PUMA SA Marketing Director.
“The kit has been unveiled on National Children’s Day to create awareness on children’s rights and well-being, with the white and blue kit symbolising youth, innocence, and positivity.”
Tiyani Mabunda, Mamelodi Sundowns spokesperson, added: “We invite our loyal and incredible supporters to purchase this HOPE Kit and become part of our mission to ensure every child in South Africa has a chance to thrive and reach their full potential. The mission to instil hope is a continuous collaborative work between the club and supporters in an effort to inspire the kids to speak up as they are the future leaders.”
The Kit features a Sundowns badge updated to a rubberised version, “Sky is the limit” wording on the back of the neckline, and an authentication badge. The Authentic shirt to be worn by the players on the pitch is made with PUMA’s ULTRAWEAVE fabric, which reduces weight and friction, and features an athletic fit for elite-level performance. The Replica shirt is made with recycled polyester.
Sundowns will wear the HOPE KIT for the first time when they play Polokwane City on Wednesday at Loftus Stadium.
