Cameroonian team PWD Bamenda has requested a postponement of the Friday game against Kaizer Chiefs.
This game was scheduled to take place at FNB Stadium on Friday (04 Dec) at 16h00. However for unmentioned reason, Bamenda has requested the game to be postponed until Sunday.
It has been reported in other media publication that Chiefs have submitted their response to the request for postponement and stated that they (Amakhosi) would only be available to play on Saturday (05 Dec) latest as they will need to prepare for their DStv Premiership game against Black Leopard scheduled for Tuesday (8 Dec).
At the time of reporting, CAF had not issued the final decision on this request and it remains unknown if the game will still be expected to take place on Friday afternoon or not. In an event that CAF declined this request and Bamenda fails to honour the match at FNB Stadium on Friday, this will grant Chiefs a default victory and might lead to Bamenda facing disciplinary action from CAF.
