Orlando Pirates won their first trophy in six years. Bucanneer fans were celebrating after their team beat Bloemfontein Celtic 2 β 1 at Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on DSaturday evening.

Bloemfontein Celtic opened their score on the 3rd minutes with a goal from Siphelele Luthuli.

Pirates responded some 30 minutes later with a goal from Dean Hotto. The scoreline was 1-all during the half time break.
Siweleleβs defender Ronald Pfumbidzai was flagged for having pushed Thembinkosi Lorch in the 18 area box, this led to Pirates being awarded a penalty and Ronald being given his marching orders.
Thembinkosi Lorch converted the penalty and Pirates was leading 2 β 1 at the 55th minute.
