The log leaders retain their number one position with a 1-0 win over Chippa United in their penultimate match in the 2019-2020 Absa Premiership Season.

Khama Billiat nets the winning goal at the 9th minute in the game after bracing a shot from a pass by Samir Nurkovic. The Glamour Boys dominated the game with 43% ball possession while the Chili Boys dominated the game with 57% possession.

However, Chippa United are still in the danger zone as they needed a point to secure their place in the PSL next season.  The Chilli Boys were reduced to nine men with  Tercious Malepe’s foul on Bulliat and Elvis Moyo’s foul on Ramhlwe Mphahlele.

Lehlohonolo Seema’s men fought very hard, they dominated the game in the last quarter and create a few more chances especially the disallowed goal as the referee felt Khune was impeded inside the box.

Although some Chippa United fans felt Khune tripped on his own knee but the referee’s decision is the final ruling.

Kaizer Chiefs remains at the top with a lot of pressure from close rivals Mamelodi Sundowns, they will play Baroka FC at their final game of the season on Saturday at 3.30 (SAST) and it will be broadcasted by SuperSport.
