The 2019/20 Absa Premiership Season comes to an end today with all the sixteen teams playing their last games. The focus remains on the top and bottom with the face off between the log leaders Amakhosi and the defending Champions Masandawana.
The last four teams remains in the danger zone with exception of Polokwane City who is already relegated technically.
Pitso Mosimane says Mamelodi Sundowns have already proved their elite status by securing a seventh CAF Champions League spot, regardless of where the Absa Premiership title ends up.
Mosimane has warned Black Leopards that his team is ready to leave their skin on the pitch if needs be to win their last match.
“We are going to give our best against Black Leopards. We are going to give our best. We will leave our skin on the pitch, nevermind the goals,” said Mosimane ahead of their final match.
Kaizer Chiefs coach Ernst Middendorp has pin-pointed one key aspect that will decide who wins the title between themselves and Mamelodi Sundowns this weekend.
The Absa Premiership title race will reach its climax on Saturday when Chiefs face Baroka and Sundowns take on Black Leopards in their respective final round fixtures.
Currently level on points and separated by just three goals, anticipation is building for what could be a thrilling end to a prolonged campaign that saw Amakhosi maintain top spot on the log for over a year.
While many will be looking at permutations that could decide whether the trophy goes to Naturena or Chloorkoop, Middendorp believes the team with the most fighting spirit will come out tops.
The kick off starts at 3.30pm (SAST) and it will broadcasted on Supersport
