The Kaizer Chiefs fans are using social media to send their request for the Soweto giant to appoint Gavin Hunt who is not only one of the best coaches but also a four-time PSL winner.
Reports surfaced in the past weekend claiming Hunt is close to concluding a deal to coach Amakhosi next season, with Doctor Khumalo and Kwanele Kopo to be appointed as assistants. But just as Hunt told KickOff.com earlier this week, the four-time Absa Premiership winner again denied contact with Chiefs while he enjoys his holiday in Plettenberg Bay.
“Gavin Hunt is the special one and we believe he can win the much-needed league title for Kaizer Chiefs,” said soccer analyst.
Several coaches have indicated their availability for the vacant position including Ruud Krol and Kosta Papic, with Chiefs understood to have also reached out to their last league winner Stuart Baxter.
